OB Ultrasound Technicians are amoung the highest paid medical jobs for a two year Associates Degree. In addition to OB/GYN, ultrasound technicians perform exams on the head/neck, abdominal area and many other areas.
Along with great pay they have good working conditions. They usually work Monday thru Friday with an 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM shift.
They are employed by regular hospitals, physicians and outpatient care facilities. Unlike some medical jobs, there is little stress and no need for emergency calls since diagnostic tests are planned ahead.
